Happy new year, Monsterhoodlums!

So, there's good news and bad news.

The bad news is that Monsterhood will end sometime in 2013. I say sometime because there are most likely more than two hundred strips to go before that happens, so while it's ending soon, it's not ending soon soon.

But I wanted to give you a heads up now at the start of the year. I've thought about this long and hard and it feels like it's time. The story is heading towards its natural end, and as much as I'd love to keep hanging out with these characters, I don't want to end up in a situation where the story has finished but the comic keeps going aimlessly (think Scrubs Season 9 or Stargate after MacGyver left.)

I also have a bunch of other projects, including a couple of other webcomics, that I want to get off the ground this year, and time is at a premium more than ever before in my life. (One of those projects will be announced in the coming weeks. It's super exciting, and I think you guys will like it.) Because of the time constraints though, I'm also going to make Monsterhood Monday-Wednesday-Friday, starting January 14th.

The good news? This year will be the biggest yet in town history-- a zombie outbreak, a visit from the mysterious Mothman, a Death-Like-Figure-centric storyline, and of course, the final battle with the Monocled Moon-Menace himself, Colonel Von Krieger. So stick around!

Also more good news! Monsterhood was nominated for a Ghastly Award! It's an honour to be nominated for Best Horror Web Comic. If you'd like to vote for Monsterhood, fan voting can be done here.

As always, thanks so much for reading... it really does mean a lot to me.
